The traveller experience

When a traveller reaches a page where Koala Smartblock is placed, adding protection is a simple, familiar part of their booking. There's no separate site, no second checkout, and no new account.

The steps a traveller takes​

The steps a traveller takes to add protection

  1. See the optionsThe widget shows the protection bundles you've enabled, each with clear wording and a price tailored to their trip.
  2. Choose or skipThe traveller selects the bundles they want, or declines and carries on. They are never forced to add anything.
  3. It joins their bookingWhatever they select is added to the booking they're already making, alongside their trip.
  4. Confirmed togetherProtection is confirmed as part of the same purchase, so it simply becomes part of what they bought.

Always in control​

Travellers can change their mind before they complete the booking: select a bundle, remove it, or decline the offer entirely. Because the widget lives inside your flow, every one of these actions happens in place, without a detour or an interruption.
